Affiliate Disclosure

Some of the links on Stride Tested are affiliate links. If you click on one and buy something, we earn a small commission — usually between 3% and 10% of the sale price. This does not increase the cost to you in any way.

Our main affiliate programme is Amazon Associates UK (tracking ID: stridetest-21). Other retailer programmes may be added over time — Wiggle, Inov-8, Garmin, and others — but the same principle applies to all of them.

A few things worth saying plainly:

Affiliate links don't change what we recommend. If a shoe is overpriced or falls apart, we'll say so — regardless of whether there's an affiliate link attached. We write the review first and add links after. Our honest opinion is more valuable to us long-term than a commission on a bad recommendation.

We don't take payment for reviews or positive coverage. No brand is charged for appearing on this site. Where we're sent a product to test, we'll make that clear in the review — and our verdict is unaffected by how it arrived.

Commissions are how we keep the site running. Buying kit to test costs money. Affiliate commissions help cover that. We prefer this to paywalls or display advertising.

If you have questions about a specific recommendation, or want to know whether a product was purchased or provided by a brand, you're welcome to ask: [email protected]
